Access Keys
Each navigation link to pages within this website and each input field on the contact form, have been assigned an access key, which is underlined in the link. These keys are also accessible through screen readers.
The use of these access keys may depend on which browser is used.
In Firefox press Shift + Alt + the identified access key. This will activate the link
In Microsoft Explorer press Shift + Alt + the identified access key to highlight the link. Release and then press enter to activate the link.
Due to the number of different links and fields used, there are two keys that are used for two different links
- The S key has been assigned to the link for the Sailing page and to the submit button for the contact form
- The C key has been assigned to the link for the contact page and to the clear button for the contact form.
When working on the contact page, the user may have to repeat the pressing of the access keys until the right link or button is activated.
